For our last lab in PC adminastration we are building a pretend computer…or rather creating a shopping list for building a computer. Actually  two…with price tags of $700 and $1700.

I was planning on looking up the system requirements for Photoshop and its friends.

I originally had a shuttle to a distant planet at the opening…this is entirely unrealistic. As NASA is already replacing the shuttle.

The new design makes me think of that Star Trek movie…the 2nd NG? Ah yes the Phonix, the first warp ship.

Though it would be nice to have something a little less phallic looking to draw. Trying to make something up, that still looks good…and aerodynamic.

Making a plan of attack for my projects and miscellaneous work for all my classes over these last few weeks. I have a lot to do.

Tonight I have been going through my Networking labs. Making sure I finished them all and reviewing the material. We have a test next Wednesday. This is something I have been needing to do for awhile. Procrastination…Ooo.

Things that I need by friday (technically today):

  • Sketch an outline for Digital Media Project. My last post talked a bit about it and I will add more info there soon.
  • I also need to talk to my Technical Writing teacher about re-writing some papers. Due at the beginning of Next Week.
  • And I need to sit in the lab and do a chunk of the Indesign section of Graphics software.

Due Sunday:

  • Web page project Draft. (Whole thing due the 14th, which I am guessing the rest are too.)

Tuesday:

  • PC Admin Labs, All seven, typed.

Wednesday:

  • Networking Test.

Friday I have a resume consultation as a final in Tech Writing.

  • So I should probably update that too.

Also

I plan on making an (semi)interactive digital comic. I will make it in flash.
Each panel will play like a movie clip, the current panel will be in full color. When the user is done reading a panel they will click or press a button and that panel will freeze in greyscale and the next will highlight and play.

The plot is still sort of wishy washy as I tend to make things up as I go…
But I plan on doing something fun and lighthearted, of the old-school comic persuasion.

Im thinking Zombies…in space. A loose plot built around that.
A page of introduction providing the setting, a colony on a desolate planet. A page showing some type of horrible accident where an alien substance gets mixed into the air supply or something to start the zombie uprising.
The comic will have at least one Adam West Batman style fight scene.

More details as they come to me.

Edit(1) Thought up (what I think is a hilarious) ending for my comic…now I just have to fill in the plot parts.

I totally wrote an awesome dialog scene in my sleep. Unfortunately I dont really remember talking from my dreams. So I have the look and movement down…just dont remember what the were talking about. *facepalm*
